Trimester Awards
Trimester Awards are presented to students for displaying outstanding attendance, citizenship, academic achievement and improvement upon previous report cards. Awards are allocated three times during the academic year, in December, March and June.
This is a wonderful way of acknowledging our students efforts and progress. Students receive a certificate and reward tag for each area in which they have successfully met the criteria.
Criteria for these awards are as follows:
Outstanding Attendance
A student must have no more than three absenses or tardies combined.
Citizenship
This award focuses on Work Habits & Social Skills. A student must have achieved more “Excellents” (E) than “Satisfactories” (S) and have no “Needs Improvement” (N).
Oustanding Academic Achievement
A student needs to have achieved all 3’s and 4’s in their subject areas and have no “Needs Improvement” (N) for effort.
