Lunch Program

The Burbank Unified School District’s partnership with Sodexho is dedicated in encouraging nutrition awareness and providing an environment for healthy eating. The Food Service Department has the responsibility to offer nutritious meals and promote positive nutrition education for the health and well being of children.

The Food Service Department is committed to maintaining high standards and working collaboratively with the education system to aid children’s performance and to assist in reaching their academic goals.

Student Meal

Breakfast $1.50
Lunch $2.75
Reduced Price $0.40
Milk $0.50

Lunch includes: A Choice of Entree, Two Side Dishes & Milk

We encourage parents to buy lunch tickets not only because of the savings available but also because it is easier for children to handle the ticket rather than cash.  These tickets may be purchased in the school cafeteria from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. each day (no bills larger than $20) .  Checks should be made out to Burbank Unified School District.

EZSCHOOLPAY.COM – An easy, convenient, and secure way to pay for school meals.
This website allows you to keep track of the balance in your child’s meal account and add additional funds when needed.  Fast, Easy, and Convenient!
School Messenger

This automated telephone system will notify you when your child’s account balance falls below $10.

Lost or Forgotten Lunch Money

The school has no funding available to provide lunch money for students who have used up their lunch tickets or who have lost or forgotten their money. Students will be allowed to call a parent to ask them to bring lunch money.
As a courtesy, the district will provide an emergency meal to students who find themselves without funds at meal time.  For students who receive emergency meals on consecutive days, a phone call will be made to the student’s home notifying parents of the concern.
